The closure of the Circle line plus the tired Londoners after all the Chinese new year celebrations and Valentines day gave me the opportunity to find a deserted platform at Baker Street station tonight.
Royal Victoria Docks
One of these sunsets of which you cannot get enough shots and forget that it is freezing cold.
Imperial College London
Lighted fronts of South Kensington houses on Exhibition Road reflecting in Imperial College Business School
Archway Bridge Highgate
Good morning! Was taking this shot from a bridge in Highgate at dawn earlier this week. Despite the far distance it had been a stress-free journey out there on the Northern line, however getting back on the train with the big tripod turned out to be quite challenging with everyone rushing into the center for work.
Fountain Court
It actually looks like summer, but in fact this shot was taken last weekend when we were following the traces of Henry VIII at Hampton Court. The gardeners obviously do a very good job!
One New Change
Gorgeous autumn sunset over London Eye and Oxo Tower
Leake Street Tunnel
When I arrived this night at Leake Street Tunnel, three artist were repainting one of the walls. Their collection of spray cans was mixed with cans of beer and energy drinks. No wonder that at some point one of them needed to take a break. As if it was the most natural thing, he jumped onto his skateboard, bowled to the end of the tunnel that you can see in the picture and stopped to tinkle in my view where he clearly knew that he was seen by the camera. After he was finished he got back to work without a word. Either totally concentrated or unabashed.
Bus race
Looks like number 242 is challenging number 8 waiting for the signal to race off!
When I got onto number 8 to Holborn later, I realized that is not racing at all but stopping all the time due to traffic.
Fiery sunrise behind the Shard
The last time I went to Primrose Hill in early morning the sun rose behind the skyscrapers near Canary Wharf. At this later time of the year it has moved south from this perspective.
